ECHOING EYE OF LIBERATION

ECHOING EYE OF LIBERATION
it is time to wake up
a yawning vortex of seeing has opened up
true to nature
I was chased by 8 walls of waves, drowned in sound
a scroll of charcoal drawings
this pacific underneath daylight
soaked by the dandy dew
dripping, lapping, fawning, what will vapor the air
spring and moses
the watercourse way libation
down river to flow
so glorious still

IVORY SOULS OF ZION

IVORY SOULS OF ZION
appeared like the tide delivers
on the wings wants
a rainbow, a double rainbow
dainty sounds
calmed the pending storm
tied to nothing but the chatter of the wind
rustling through open sea

PEARLESCENT SHOULDER TO BREATHE UPON

PEARLESCENT SHOULDER TO BREATHE UPON
erupted casket of thirst
the sea has shaped you so
black birds left dangling
mold to source brought forth
bound by the great native fire
of remembrance evermore
rubbing prism instinct
fosters unmentionable words
down neck then over
hovering
breathing
cooing
in anticipation

THEN CASCADE SINGING PSALMS

THEN CASCADE SINGING PSALMS
a deafening desire rides a shallow wave
quietly beating to shore
challenging sand and tide
we sing we chant we call out
while gripping toes fight the lashing current
once familiar
